Change security level to Medium in Internet Explorer

This article describes how to change the security level for the Internet zone in the Internet Explorer browser. Changing this security setting will enable plugins (ActiveX plugins) and JavaScript for the Internet Explorer browser, both of which are required to run the Virtual Astronaut Learning Environment.
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options , and then click the Security tab

  2. Click the Internet Web content security zone to select it and view its current settings.

  3. Click on the the Default Level button if it is enabled. Else move onto the next step.

  4. Change the security level for the selected zone to Medium by moving the slider.

  5. Click Ok to save your settings.

  6. Close your browser and restart Virtual Astronaut Learning Environment.
